New paper from Bo Bunny

As mentioned in the April/May newsletter (which I hope you have received by now!) we now have in stock the new Organic line of papers from Bo Bunny! These are really gorgeous, double-sided papers and we also have coordinating, double-sided "Double-Dot" ribbon! Matching brads and flowers were also ordered to go with this paper, but they're on backorder at this time.

Here is a card I made using some of the papers and a technique called paper piecing! If you've never tried paper piecing before, it's super-simple to do and really gives your card or project a Wow! factor! Simply stamp your image directly onto the designer paper, then cut out the part you want to piece! To start on this card, I stamped the entire image onto white cardstock. Then I stamped it again onto the green floral paper, cut out the raincoat and adhered it to the main image. I also stamped the image again onto a solid green paper (opposite side of another piece of the Bo Bunny paper) and cut out the dog's little sweater! The umbrella is a separate, solid stamp. I stamped it in Versamark ink on the Coral Dot paper, embossed it with clear embossing powder and cut it out also. I highly recommend this stamp set called Rain or Shine from My Favorite Things if you're interested in trying paper piecing. It's fun to give the It Girl a different designer raincoat everytime you use it!

Be sure to stop in soon to get some of this gorgeous paper before it's all gone! We have a lot of new items in the stamp department, as well as a great selection of clearance items remaining!

The Great Impressions Stamp of the Month will be up on Tuesday morning, so don't forget to stop by! I think you're going to love the new stamps!

Happy stamping!
