New Company

We have a new company at the store, and some great new stamps arrived on Tuesday! The company is Cornish Heritage Farms, and we received several Thomas Kinkade stamps (including a brand-new one called Hometown Pride that we'll be using for the June stamp class!) You can check out this recent post for a Kinkade card that I made last week! (Many thanks to my good friend Darlene for bringing her Kinkade stamps to the store and letting me "play" wtih them!) We also have 4 new stamp sets from CHF that were designed by Kim Hughes. Kim is really talented, and her designs have a very unique, whimsical quality that I find irresistible! I hope you'll love them, too!

Here's a card I quickly made today with the set Making the Grade! If you're like me and have been procrastinating about end-of-the-year teacher gifts, this set is exactly what you need!

We've got lots of new stamps and ideas at the store! And don't forget about the All-American card class on June 17th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., and on June 24th from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Openings are still available!

Happy stamping!

My Favorite Things

Just an FYI that we received more new stamps from My Favorite Things today, so stop in soon if there is a set that you've been wanting! Chances are we have it here! Included in our shipment today were more of the "Gone to the Dogs" sets. If you remember, Edie used that set the other day on this adorable card!

And speaking of adorable cards, customer Sherri Gochnauer created this sweet card using another set from My Favorite Things called Can Ya' Dig it? Don't you just love how she paper-pieced the dress? This is a great set, perfect to make cards for the gardener in your life! Sherri said she drew inspiration for her card design from her copy of The CardMakers Sketchbook. She used the sketch layout on page 76 to spark her creativity! We still have a few copies of the Sketchbook in stock if you're interested in owning your own copy of this valuable papercrafting tool!

While we're on the subject of Sherri, if you know her be sure to offer her a huge congratulations on her Hero Arts card recently published in the Take Ten magazine! You can see her card on page 9 of the current issue, which we do have in stock as well as the June/July 2008 issue of Stampers' Sampler! These magazines sell quickly each time so don't wait too long to come in and get your copy!

With the recent shipment from Stampendous, I just couldn't resist creating a few cards with their adorable Bee stamps! If you'd like to see my Patriotic Bee cards, bee sure to stop by my personal blog sometime soon! You can find it by clicking here!

May you have a wonderful holiday weekend! Happy stamping!

Dog Walking in Style

We recently got some new stamp sets from My Favorite Things including this cute set called Gone to the Dogs. It's such a great set that we've sold out of it already, but more are on the way! You will definitely want to get a set of your own so you can CASE this cute card created by Toyrifix customer Edie Pitcher! Isn't it adorable? The dog even has a bling color and patterned leash to match his owners attire! Edie used our Bazzill cardstock for this card, and the patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Boxer collection. The inverted rounded corners were made using the Fiskars Regal corner scissors, and she used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder on the background. (Hopefully we'll have more of those in stock soon!)

Also, coming soon to Toyrifix are Thomas Kinkade stamps exclusively from Cornish Heritage Farms! We'll be getting this stamp, as well as one called The Rose Garden. There is also a newly released stamp called Hometown Pride that we'll be using for the June All-American cards class! Sign up for the class soon so you won't miss the chance to be the first to own this new stamp!

Pretty Shoes....

We recently received some great new stamps at the store from Impression Obsession. The dress and the shoe on this card are from a really pretty clear set called All Dressed Up. There are several dresses in this set, as well as three different shoes and other "girly" accessories. If you're working on some scrapbook pages with recent prom pictures, this set would be a perfect compliment! The sentiment "Pretty shoes can cure the blues" is also available at the store and is a wood-mounted stamp. The flowered paper used here is from one of the new Basic Grey 6x6 pads called Sultry. And doesn't that glitter chipboard flower go great with the paper and design? We have those at the store too, from Melissa Frances. The circle and scalloped circle were cut out with the Cuttlebug and the Nestabilities. There are still some in stock, so if these are something you've been wanting to try, now's the time to pick some up!

Stay tuned for pictures of the cards we made recently at the Funky Folds stamp class!

Hope to see you at Toyrifix soon!
