There are about 35 stampers that are ready for Christmas because they attended the Christmas Card Buffets that were held over at The Barn on August 15th and August 29th! In case you weren't able to come, here are pictures of the cards we created. The stamps are all available at the store, although many have sold out to the lucky ladies that were here! I'll be ordering more as soon as possible! This angel card was time consuming, but I think everyone liked the final result!Looks like the black ink pad might have gotten too close to this card... it's a little worse-for-wear! The idea for this card was inspired by another design I found online.
We spritzed the pieces of this card with silver Glimmer Mist before assembling for an all-over shimmer!
This card had a very country/traditional feel, and watercolor crayons were used to ink the poinsettia. (You can use markers, too!)
I think this one was a favorite for everyone. This one was also spritzed with the silver Glimmer Mist... it looks really great against the navy cardstock!
This one was a favorite as well! The designer paper from Imaginisce has just a little bit of glitter on the bulbs, and we added more glitter to the stars in the sentiment.
And yet another favorite! The Nativity was embossed with Queen's Gold embossing powder.
These beautiful candles are so elegant, and we used the Copic Airbrush system to add a "glow" in the background.
This was one of my favorites!
This card was quick and easy, but very elegant!
This one also was quick and easy, and although it's quite simple I was suprised to learn how much everyone loved it!
Remember, we have a Copic 101 class coming up on Saturday, September 12th at 10:00 a.m. If you've been wanting to learn how to use Copics, or need a refresher this is the class for you! You'll learn how to select marker colors for proper blending and shading, and have plenty of hands-on time for coloring your stamped images. We will create 3 simple cards with our finished images. Bring your own adhesive and scissors to this class. Call the store or stop in to registers. The cost is $30 and participants will receive a coupon for Buy 6 Markers, Get 1 Free on the day of the class.
And on Tuesday, September 22nd from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, September 29th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. we'll have the "Happy Fall Y'all" Card Class. We'll create four cards with a Fall/Autumn theme, perfect for any occasion. Class size is limited to 8 per class, so call the store or stop in soon to reserve your spot. Bring your own general adhesive, and a pair of scissors for minor trimming and ribbon snipping!
Hope to see you at the store soon!
